This ancient martial art is also known as “the science of eight limbs”. In the art of Muay Thai the hands, elbows knees and shins are used as weapons, thus enabling the practitioner to make use of any part of his body a weapon to defend himself or a loved one.

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, also known as BJJ. Its founder Helio Gracie won numerous tournaments against bigger and stronger opponents using this martial art. Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu does not focus on strikes, but instead the techniques use the concepts of weight displacement, space, and leverage to overcome an opponent.

Boxing

Boxing, also known as “the sweet science”, is one of the oldest combat sports in history. Created by the Greeks, the theory of boxing is to hit and not get hit. With this theory in mind, Boxing trains the practitioner to use movement as well as superior defense to avoid being hit and trains the practitioner to hit the opponent from a safe position.

Mixed Martial Arts, or MMA, is one of the fastest growing martial arts worldwide. It was originally based on the idea of taking the best techniques from various martial arts and merging them into a single dynamic system.

In our personal (one-on-one) training, our aim is to meet the needs, goals and interests of our client, ie: we actually go that extra mile to customize a specific martial arts training programme for you. This means that you can actually fuse different types of martial arts (e.g.: Muay Thai, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and a cardio workout) according to your personal preferences.
